Mayor Craig A. Moe has announced that City and Passport Offices will be closed on Monday, May 29th in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. 

Trash, recycling and compost pickups will be adjusted the week of May 29th through June 2nd:

  • Monday Residential and Commercial collections will move to Tuesday
  • Tuesday Residential collections will move to Wednesday
  • Wednesday, Thursday and Friday collections are unchanged
  • There will be no bulky item pickup on Wednesday, May 31st

There will be a yard debris pickup on Wednesday, May 31st.  This pickup will be limited due to the holiday schedule.  The next available bulky item pickup will be on Wednesday, June 7th.  Please be sure to email ([email protected]) or call (301-725-0088) the Department of Public Works to schedule your pickups.
